Every year, Team JALBCA participates in the Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure, held by Susan G. Komen, the world's leading breast cancer organization. By participating, members join a community united in one goal: to end breast cancer forever. Together, we will fund breakthrough discoveries and support those facing the challenges of breast cancer today by ensuring that they receive the care they need to live longer and better lives.

On Race Day, it's powerful to see hundreds of teams from every part of the metropolitan area and all over the country gather together at the start line. Seeing everyone in pink, full of high spirits and energy, really signifies that together we can do anything.

The 2026 Komen Greater New York City Race for the Cure will be held on Sunday, October 24th, this year we will be at Foley Square in downtown Manhattan and walk the Brooklyn Bridge! Join JALBCA in walking for those who can't: those currently battling breast cancer, those who are suffering, and those we have lost. Together, we will fight back against breast cancer.
