The Gender Fairness Committee, Supreme Court, New York County, Civil Branch and JALBCA (Judges and Lawyers Breast Cancer Alert) invite you to a special presentation by Dr. Freya Schnabel of NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center which will take place on November 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. Dr. Freya Schnabel is a surgical oncologist at NYU Langone treating patients who have breast cancer and benign breast disease. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Surgery and a Director of Breast Surgery at NYU Langone Health’s Perlmutter Cancer Center. Dr. Schnabel completed her MD from New York University in 1982, her residency with NYU in general surgery in 1987, and completed a fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in surgery in 1988. She received her board certification from the American Board of Surgery-General Surgery in 1988.
